Who is eligible to apply?

Any Indian citizen residing in India, above the age of 18, with a proof of current employment, earning a monthly salary of ₹15,000 and above, a bank account and a valid identity and address proof can apply.

How much can I borrow and for how long?

You can get loans upto ₹5 Lakhs with a maximum tenure of 36 months.

Will I get a quick loan even if I apply on a holiday or beyond banking hours?

Our convenient web and mobile platforms allow you to apply for loan at any time and on any day.

What are your working hours?

Do I need a guarantor?

We do not require a Guarantor for you to apply for a loan with StashFin but we may request one at our discretion in order to process your application if we feel that your personal profile does not currently meet our lending criteria.

What are the interest rates offered?

StashFin loans start from 11.99% annually on reducing balance and a low processing fee. We do not charge service fees, prepayment fees, or any other hidden fees. Interest rates may vary from a case to case basis and the rates offered will depend on our assessment of your credit profile.

How does StashFin rates compare with those of others?

Most banks/credit card companies/NBFCs charge a variety of fees which may include prepayment fees and other hidden charges. You may end up paying a much higher amount than you do when you have a loan with us.

How is having a higher credit score beneficial?

A higher credit score indicates that you have a good track record with respect to loans that you have borrowed in the past. Therefore, if your credit score is high (more than 750 in case of CIBIL TransUnion), your chances of being granted a loan are much higher than if you have a lower score. Additionally, you may be able to negotiate benefits such as a lower interest rate, higher loan amount, etc. by leveraging your high credit score.

I did not receive my OTP, what should I do?

If you are certain that you did not receive an OTP on your registered mobile number, please request the OTP again by clicking the button that says “Resend OTP” on the online application. To protect the security of your account our executives don’t get access your OTP and therefore cannot send you the OTP on email.

Who will contact me after I input my information on StashFin’s website and Mobile Application?

You will receive a call from one of our friendly and helpful sales executives, who will assist you with the application and documentation process. They will verify some basic information and assist you with KYC in physical or digital form as per your convenience.

What are the key documents required when applying for an instant loan?

Following is the list of documents that are required to process your loan. We require that you submit legible copies of these documents in jpg or pdf format:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • PAN Card
  • Current Address Proof: Acceptable proofs are, valid Rent Agreement, Voter ID card, Passport, Driving License, Aadhaar Card or latest utility (Electric/Landline/Gas) bills. If the premise is rented, we would also need your landlord’s electricity bill.
  • Income Proof: In case of salaried customers, last three months' salary slips.
  • Bank Statements: You may simply login to your bank account using a secure link that we send you in order to verify your bank statement. However, in case you cannot do so, you may upload your last 6 months’ complete bank statements showing your salary credit/business transaction informations in PDF format.

Once your loan has been approved, you will need to submit self-attested copies of all the above documents. We will verify through KYC in physical or digital form as per your convenience and our field agent will also click your photograph on the spot.

You ask for internet banking credentials. Is it safe to login to my bank account through stashfin.com?

It is completely safe to provide your bank statement using your net banking credentials. Any login credentials you supply are encrypted and are never stored on our servers. We cannot see your net banking credentials and only receive the bank statements at the end of the transaction.

How long does it take to process an application?

Accurate information on the application and correct documentation are key to speeding things up. The sooner you submit your application with correct documentation, the faster your application is processed. In most cases, we are able to process a loan application within 4 hours! It is that easy.

My documents were collected, but no one is contacting me. What should I do?

What is the status of my application?

You can easily check the status of your application by logging into your account on https://www.stashfin.com or the StashFin App.

How do I know if my application is approved?

Once your application is approved, you will receive an email and a notification on your mobile phone. You may also receive a notification if we require any further details to approve your application. You will also be able to check the status of your loan at www.stashfin.com or on the StashFin App after logging in with your credentials.

My loan has been disbursed, but the money is still not reflecting in my bank account. Why is that?

Once your loan is disbursed, the money will reach your bank account within 48-72 business hours. At the time of loan disbursal, the UTR (Unique Transaction Reference) number is shared with you, which you can track conveniently with your bank.

Why was my application declined? What can I improve?

Your application can be rejected for a variety of reasons, these may include omission of certain required documents, furnishing false information, lack of a job (or other means to repay) or not meeting our internal credit worthiness criteria. This is by no means a reflection on your credibility, it simply means that our criteria and your profile are not a current match. Any material change in your credit profile would help us re-evaluate your application and lend to you in the future. We value your precious time in fulfilling the application process and encourage you to reapply after three months.

Can I re-apply if I have been previously rejected for a loan?

We encourage you to re-apply if you feel that your application should be reviewed or if you believe that there is a significant improvement in your creditworthiness once 3 months have passed since your last application was rejected. However, approval remains at the sole discretion of StashFin.

How do I cancel my application?

Can I change my details in the application form?

Any details entered in the application form cannot be cancelled by you. In case of any errors,You can reach out to us through our Contact Us page on the website or "Help" on the app..

I submitted my documents but my request was declined. What will happen to my documents?

Rest assured, all your documents are safe with us. Additionally, we do not send documents, for any case, back to the customer. For further details, please refer to our document policy in our terms and conditions.

How do I repay the loan?

The loan can be repaid in the form of Equated Monthly Instalment (EMI) via post-dated cheques or via NACH (National Automated Clearing House) mandates drawn in favour of the lender. You can even pay online by visiting www.stashfin.com or on StashFin app.

How do I check my account balance and EMI due date?

Please login to your StashFin account where you will find a customized dashboard that contains your loan application status and/or all details related to your loan.

How can I get my EMI details?

You can easily view your EMI amount, tenure, interest rate and other details on the StashFin app by choosing "Outgoing EMI" from the Home Screen.

Will you send me an EMI payment reminders?

StashFin may send you messages in order to remind you of upcoming payments. However, it is your responsibility to pay your EMIs on time. Therefore, we request you to kindly maintain sufficient funds in your bank account to service your EMI liability in full.

How do I pay my EMI?

If your NACH is registered and set up with StashFin, you do not need to pay the EMI yourself. The EMI amount will get auto-debited on the due date. In case your EMI is due on a weekend or any other bank holiday, you need not worry, it will get auto-debited once the bank re-opens. All you need to do is maintain sufficient balance.

You can make your EMI payment by logging into your account on the website and clicking on the "Make Payment" option on the left hand panel. You can also use the app to effortlessly make your EMI payment on time. If you are paying it yourself, please do so at least 2 working days before your EMI due date.

Please note:- that you will be charged a nominal fee of Rs. 20 plus GST when you make the payment on the website or the app.

What does NACH/E-NACH registration mean?

It means that on your EMI due date, the EMI amount will get auto-debited from your account. You can sit back and relax, without worrying about paying penalties due to accidentally missing your EMI due date.

Will my EMI get auto-debited or will I need to pay it myself?

If your NACH is registered and set up with StashFin, you will be notified by us through an SMS. In that case you need not pay yourself. If your NACH has not yet been registered, please make the payment yourself by visiting https://www.stashfin.com or through the app atleast 2 working days before the EMI due date.

My EMI got double deducted, what should I do next?

If your EMI got double deducted, you need not worry as we will surely adjust the excess amount in the next EMI.

My EMI got double debited and my loan is closed. What should I do?

If your EMI got double debited and your loan is closed, you need not worry. We will surely refund the excess amount within 30 days.

How do I top up my loan?

If you are an existing StashFin customer, you can top-up your loan after paying 50% of your EMIs. Visit https://www.stashfin.com/contact-us, fill in your details and choose “Top-up existing loan”. One of our friendly executives will contact you soon.

I got an offer last month, how can I avail the same offer again?

Though we are delighted that you liked the offer that you got last month, it may no longer be available. We will inform you once we start another exciting offer that you are eligible for.

How can I foreclose my loan?

You need to pay at least 3 EMIs before you can foreclose your loans. The loan foreclosure option is available for all active loans collectively. You can put in a request for loan foreclosure through our website by clicking on Contact Us. Alternatively, you can also get in touch with us through the app by clicking on “Help” in the app menu. One of our friendly and helpful executives will get in touch with you and guide you through the process.

My loan is closed. How can I get an NOC letter?

You can request for an NOC on live chat through our website or app. You can even drop a message by clicking on the Contact Us. Alternately, you can also get in touch with us through the app by clicking on “Help” in the app menu.

What do I do if I want to extend my loan?

What are the extra charges that I might need to pay?

The schedule of charges are as follows:

Processing Fee StashFin charges a Processing Fee between 0-10% (excluding GST) on each loan
*Every time you load your StashFin Card using the StashFin App, you are charged a processing fee on the amount withdrawn
Bounce Charges INR 500/- on every NACH/cheque bounce/failed EMI payment
*If you fail to pay the EMI, StashFin charges a penal interest on the overdue amount
*If there are any pending dues post clearance of your monthly EMIs, your NACH mandate can be represented again to your Bank.
What is a StashFin Credit Line Card?

The StashFin Credit Line Card is a card on which users can avail a real-time personal loan(s) with loan amounts and tenures of their choosing. The user may use the card to withdraw cash from any ATM, swipe at any POS terminal or make purchases at any online merchant.

Who can avail the Card and what would be the limit?

The eligibility criteria for the StashFin Visa Credit Line Card is the same as that of personal loans disbursed by StashFin. Refer here for the same. After submitting all required details, documents and any other relevant information that we may require, an approved credit line is instantly activated on your StashFin Visa Credit Line Card.

How do I register my card?

You can seamlessly register your Card by clicking on "Register my Card" on the app menu. After entering the Card number., you will receive an OTP. Enter that and your Card will get registered. It's as simple as that. If you haven’t received an OTP on your registered mobile number, please request the OTP again by clicking the button that says “RESEND OTP”.

How can I use my card?

After loading money onto the Card, you can use it to withdraw funds from an ATM, shop offline (at offline Point of Sales terminals) or make transactions online.

How do I start using my card?

Once you register the card, your Line of Credit will be activated. You can load funds up to the credit limit on the Card, as and when you please! As you keep paying your EMIs, the principal amount gets added back to your Line of Credit, thereby empowering you to be able to load and use more money.

I want to change the registered number on my card. What should I do?

Please drop a message by clicking on Contact Us. You can also reach us be clicking on “Help” on the app menu. One of our friendly executives will get in touch with you. Although you cannot change your registered number if your EMI is overdue.

How do I see my balance and transaction history?

You can view your available balance and transaction history anytime on the StashFin Mobile App or website once you login using your email ID/ mobile number and password. You can also login using an OTP that we send to your registered phone number. You can download the App from Google Play Store or Apple Store.

What is the maximum amount I can load on the Card?
The standing balance on StashFin Card cannot exceed INR 2,00,000. In case you load more than INR 2,00,000, only INR 2,00,000 will get transferred on the Card. The additional funds shall be transferred automatically on the Card as soon as you spend money from it.
What should I do if my Card is lost or stolen?

What do you mean by credit line? What is meant by draw-down?

To use a simple analogy, think of your approved credit line as a big water tank from which you can draw-down funds just like you draw water from a tap as and when you need. Think of the StashFin App and web based platform as a tap from which you can draw-down only the funds you immediately need, thereby saving on interest costs you would otherwise have to pay on the entire credit line. Obviously, funds once drawn-down would be reduced from your overall approved credit line.

Will each and every purchase I make using the card be converted to an EMI?

No. Only the funds you draw-down at one time are converted to an EMI, the amount and tenure are of your choosing. You may draw as little as ₹500 at one time and convert it to an EMI with a tenure ranging from 3 months to 36 months. These drawn-down funds constitute the balance on your card that you may use to make transactions.

For example, let us say you have an approved credit limit of ₹50,000 on your card and you make a draw-down request for ₹5000 on the App. Now, ₹5,000 will be instantly loaded on your card which you utilise in the following way:

  • ₹2,000 at a restaurant for dinner
  • ₹500 for a mobile recharge online
  • ₹1,500 for a purchase at an online merchant

Now, you need to make an electricity bill payment for ₹1,500, but since you’ve already used ₹4,000 (₹2000 + ₹500 + ₹1500) out of the ₹5,000 drawn-down and have only ₹1,000 left, you will need to make an additional draw-down request subject to a minimum amount of ₹500 and a maximum amount of ₹45,000 (the remaining limit on your credit line) in order to make the electricity bill payment using your card.

I have loaded Rs. 20,000 on my card but I have used only Rs.10,000 till now. What amount will get converted into EMI?

The entire amount that you load onto the Card gets converted into EMIs. In this case Rs. 20,000 that you loaded onto the card will get converted into EMIs.

On the App it is showing that my available line of credit is Rs. 50,000 and I have just loaded/ drawn down Rs. 30,000 till now. When I try to load more money on my card, I am getting error 049. What does that mean?

If you are getting an “Error 049” message, it means that your loan obligations have increased or your credit profile has undergone a material change since the time your credit limit was approved. You can try to load more money on the card after 3 months.

What is Corporate Partnership?

As a part of our Corporate Partnership Program, if your company is empaneled with us, we may offer 10,000 PAYBACK Points to new customers. To become eligible for the offer, you will have to draw down/load atleast Rs. 30,000 on your StashFin Card within 3 months of Card registration.

When will I be able to redeem the Points?

The points will become available within 45 days of the 3rd EMI provided all the EMIs have been paid on or before the EMI due date. The account should be in good standing with us. It should not be overdue and there should be no delayed payments.

I have loaded my Card with money but I haven’t used it yet. Do I still need to pay interest?

The amount that is loaded on the card gets converted into EMIs. We cannot access the funds on your card,hence, once you draw down money on your Card, you start paying interest on it.

What is StashFin Elev8?

StashFin Elev8 is a mobile application based online platform which makes it easier for anyone to borrow cash in a fast and convenient manner. StashFin Elev8 offers a series of small ticket size loans. As the customer pays the loans on time, the customer can improve his/her Credit/Bureau profile and can become eligible for larger loans from StashFin. StashFin Elev8 customers will also be offered a premium StashFin Credit Line Card once they climb up the Elev8 ladder.

How does StashFin Elev8 work?

Getting cash from StashFin Elev8 is a very simple process. Here is all you need to do:

  • Download the StashFin App from Google Play Store
  • Apply for the loan that you are eligible for
  • Provide basic details as per your Aadhaar Card
  • Confirm Account Number and IFSC Code
  • Upload Documents (PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, and Banking proof)
  • Scan your Aadhaar Card
  • Transfer Re. 1 to StashFin using your Debit Card (amount will be instantly refunded back to your account)
  • Upon successful approval, cash will be transferred into your bank account. Make timely payments and keep using StashFin Elev8 to unlock higher limits and better offers over time
How do you decide my eligibility and the loan limit?

Your eligibility and loan limit are decided on the basis of “StashFin Elev8 Score”. StashFin Elev8 Score is an internal measure of a borrower’s credibility and his/her likelihood of paying back the loan on time. The score takes into account various information about the borrower such as financial profile, social networks and behaviour data.

The score is dynamic and keeps evolving as we obtain greater data on the user. Therefore, good behaviour and timely loan repayments will help a user increase his score and get better loan terms over time.

I need a bigger loan, what should I do?

The loan limits are generated automatically based on your StashFin Elev8 Score. With regular use of Elev8 and by making timely repayments of your loans, you can increase your StashFin Elev8 Score which will help to unlock larger loans with lower rates and fees over time.

I don’t need this small loan, why should I still keep your App?

The loan limits are generated automatically based on your StashFin Elev8 Score, which might not be sufficient for a higher limit at this point. However if you pay your existing loan on time, you could become eligible for a higher amount after the Due Date of your existing loan.

What documents are needed for registration?

The documents required for registration are:

  • Aadhaar Card (Front)

  • PAN Card
  • Banking Proof (Bank Cheque/First Page of Passbook/Bank Statement)
How much time will it take to get the cash?

Once your loan is disbursed, the money will reach your Bank Account within 1 working day.

Why do I need to pay Re. 1 before I get the loan?

For a first time borrower, we want to make sure that we transfer the money to the right account. This also helps to confirm that the customer will not face any unnecessary issues while repaying loans. Therefore, we ask the customer to transfer Re. 1 using a Debit Card. This amount is instantly refunded back to the customer.

How much fees do I have to pay on the loan?

The fees charged from the borrowers is the sum total of processing fees and interest charges. We charge a flat processing fee of Rs. 25 to Elev8 customers for loan amounts over Rs. 2000. The interest rate varies according to the loan amount. As a customer repays his loans on time, he may be offered repeat loans at lower interest rates. The borrowers are notified of the exact charges at the time of loan application.

How can I repay my loan?

You can repay your loan on the StashFin App by following these simple steps:

  • Click on the ‘Pay Now’ button on the Dashboard screen of your App
  • Use your Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI or wallets to pay the entire amount

Alternatively, you can pay on the StashFin website by visiting https://www.stashfin.com/login and logging into your account. Click on “Pay Now” button on left hand panel. You can make the payment before the Due Date without any prepayment penalties.

What if I prepay my loan?

You could make a prepayment without any penalties. An early loan payment would not reduce the fees as notified at the time of application. However, early payment is regarded as good behaviour, and could help improve your StashFin Elev8 Score and get you higher limits and better loan terms over time.

What if I fail to pay on the Due Date?

Any delays in the payments will incur penalties and could also deteriorate your StashFin Elev8 Score. The penalty starts as low as Rs. 15 per day and increases upto Rs. 25 per day, depending on your loan amount and time period since the amount is overdue.

What if I do not pay?

In the unfortunate event that you default, StashFin could report the defaulter's data to credit bureaus. This could make it difficult to get loans from banks/NBFCs at good terms in the future.

What is the eligibility for StashFin Referral Program?

The users who have at least 1 loan disbursed from StashFin are eligible to share their referral code to invite their friends/family.

What if the person I refer has already applied for Personal Loan / Line of Credit in StashFin?

Once your friend successfully registers as a new user with StashFin, he will be counted as your referral. If your friend already has an account with Stashfin he will be not counted as your referral

How much I can earn through the Referral Program?

There is no upper limit in this Referral Program, i.e. the more you refer the more you have a chance to earn in this Referral Program. You will get a chance to earn Referral Rewards once your friend successfully registers with StashFin and takes his first loan.

How can I redeem my Referral Rewards?

The Referral Rewards earned through this Referral Program can only be adjusted against your EMI amount. You can redeem your Referral Rewards at the time of payment of your StashFin Loan EMI.

I have no active loans, how can I redeem my Referral Rewards?

There is no expiry date to redeem your Referral Rewards earned. You can always adjust your Referral Rewards against the EMI of your next StashFin loan.

What does the person I refer get?

Once your friend successfully gets his/her first loan disbursed, he/she will get a chance to earn up to Rs. 250.

How will late payment affect my Referral Rewards?

Referral Rewards can only be redeemed if you make the payment on or before your EMI date. If your friend is unable to repay the loan in a timely manner, then you will no longer be eligible to redeem your Referral Rewards.

What happens when I get a loan/credit line disbural through StashFin during the RBI moratorium period?

If you have been disbursed a loan during March 1, 2020 to August 31, 2020, the loan does not qualify for the moratorium. Please pay your loan/credit line disbursal to avoid penal interest and negative effect on your bureau.

What is the StashFin Virtual Card?

The StashFin Virtual Card is an add-on card issued on your primary StashFin card. It does not have any plastic existence. All relevant details, i.e., the Card Number, the Expiry Date and the CVV number are visible online on the StashFin App. The virtual credit card enables you to transact online using funds from your approved credit limit.

What is the difference between the StashFin Physical Card and the StashFin Virtual Card?

The only difference between the StashFin physical card and virtual card is that the Virtual Card can only be used online as it does not have any plastic existence. Everything else remains the same for both the cards.

How can I get a StashFin Virtual Card?

Once your Line of Credit is approved and all pending steps and documentation are complete, you will be able to activate your Virtual Card using the StashFin App.

If I am only offered the Virtual Card, will I get a physical card as well along with the Virtual Card?

The Virtual Card has no physical existence. It can be used through the StashFin App only. No physical card will be delivered to you unless you are offered a physical card on the StashFin App.

Do I have to repay only the amount I have spent through my Virtual Card?

The entire loan amount received on the Virtual Card has to be paid back irrespective of the amount that you have spent using the Card. You can choose to pay the amount either in a single payment or in multiple installments.

Till when can I use the funds on my Virtual Card?

The funds are available for use on the Virtual Card till the card's expiry date. The expiry date of the Virtual Card is visible on the StashFin App.

Is it safer than the credit and debit cards I carry in my wallet?

The key details of the StashFin Virtual Card like the Card Number, Expiry Date, etc. are visible online on the StashFin App. You can use these details to transact online and never be worried about losing your card or having to carry it 'safely' in your wallet.

How do I use the virtual card?

As soon as your Line of Credit is approved by StashFin, you will be able to access your Virtual Card using the StashFin App. To activate your Virtual Card you will need to enter your 16 digit Virtual Card number on the App and submit the OTP which you will receive on your registered mobile number. You can then use your Virtual Card details to transact online. You don't have to wait for the physical StashFin card to reach you to be able to start accessing your funds.

Where can I use the virtual card?

Virtual Card can only be used for online transactions. It can be used on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart. It can be used to order food online on Zomato, Swiggy and other such online food platforms. It can also be used to book movie tickets on BookMyShow. There is no separate limit which is approved for the StashFin Virtual Card. There is only one limit which is approved by StashFin and you can access your funds using the virtual card and/or the physical card.

How do I make payments for my Virtual Card transactions?

Your virtual card transactions will get converted into EMIs. You can view your EMI details on the StashFin App.

Can I block my Virtual Card?

You have the option to lock and block your Virtual card. You can lock and unlock your Virtual card on the App. By locking the card, you will not be able to use the Virtual Card credentials for any online transactions, until you unlock the card. You also have the option to permanently block your Virtual Card via the StashFin Helpline number (011-47848400), but please note that it may take upto 3 working days to unblock your card.

Is there any kind of fee levied at any time for issuing/holding a Virtual Card?

Our loans range from ₹1000 to ₹5,00,000 with repayment periods starting from 3 months to 36 months. We offer interest rates ranging from 11.99% - 59.99% APR (Annual Percentage Rate), however rates may vary case to case. All loans are paid through Equal Monthly Installments (EMIs) via electronic payment. We do charge low processing fees and have no other hidden costs.

Example: If a customer takes a loan of ₹10,000 for a period of 3 months, at an annual interest rate of 11.99% APR, then the customer will pay an EMI for 3 months of ₹3,400 per month. Total payment over 3 months will be ₹10,200 (including principal and Interest).
